Job Description

Ballad Health CVA Heart Institute-Bristol has an exciting opportunity available for a nurse practitioner/physician assistant to join an  inpatient role at Bristol Regional Medical Center. CVA is a physician-led, professionally managed organization with more than 75 providers in cardiology and varying cardiovascular specialties. As the premier provider of cardiology services in Northeast Tennessee and Southwest Virginia, Ballad Health CVA Heart Institute provides the most up-to-date technology in the region.

 

Opportunity Details:

  1. Guaranteed Base Salary
  2. Full Benefits – Health/Dental/Vision
  3. 403B Retirement
  4. Hospital Only
  5. 4-10 Hour Days

 

Opportunity Requirements:

  1. Providing medical care as an independent licensed practitioner
  2. Prescribing or recommending medications for patients, consulting with physicians as appropriate
  3. Ordering diagnostic tests and demonstrating appropriate application of the results to assess and treat patients’ clinical conditions and healthcare needs
  4. Collaborating with cardiologists to treat cardiac diagnoses and manage acute and chronic cardiac issues
  5. Rounding on an inpatient service and providing consultative services in conjunction with the Cardiologist
  6. Call includes the occasional weekend

 

Successful Candidate Will:

  1. Be a graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant program
  2. Have valid and active NP/PA licensure in Tennessee
  3. Have current AHA, ACLS and BLS
