This is not an offer of employment but rather a private practice arrangement with the support of a minimum income guarantee.

Opportunity Highlights

• Position Type: Permanent, part-time (20–30 hours/week)

Practice Overview

• Hospital-based private practice role caring for adult patients with Substance Use Disorders (SUD)
• Admitting and attending duties on a general acute care unit with low medical acuity patients
• Average daily census of 18–24 patients
• SUD treatment managed by experienced, credentialed specialists already in place
• Established unit with a 7-year track record and a stable hospital staff
• Clinical hours range from 4–6 hours per day, depending on experience
• Weekday hours, NP covers weekends (sign off required)
• Excellent work-life balance

Position Qualifications

• MD or DO
• Residency trained in IM/ FM
• 1–2 years of hospitalist experience preferred
• Experience or interest in addiction medicine is a plus

Compensation & Support

• Guaranteed minimum annual income of $290,000
• Assistance available in forming a medical corporation, if needed
• Additional income potential, including weekend billing opportunities with per diem coverage available if desired
