The CardioVascular Center (CVC) at Tufts Medical Center is seeking a Noninvasive Cardiologist with advanced cardiac imaging expertise (cardiac CT, cardiac MRI, and echocardiography) and a strong interest in general cardiology to join our faculty. Complementary subspecialty interests (e.g., Cardio-Oncology, General Cardiology, Prevention/Lipids) are welcome but not required
Division of Cardiology Overview:
Integrated Healthcare: Tufts Medical Center, with over 700 affiliated doctors, is part of the Tufts Medicine Health System.
Team Driven: The CVC is comprised of a dynamic grouping of physicians involved in growing clinical programs across Cardiology, Cardiothoracic Surgery and Vascular Surgery.
Research Based: Cardiology research has a proven impact on patient care and outcomes. Specifically, the Divisions participate in the Cardiovascular Center for Research and Innovation as well as the Medical Center’s Molecular Cardiology Research Institute. Our cardiovascular research programs receive substantial funding of $63 million to support clinical and basic research.
Education: Our faculty are full-time academic staff members at Tufts University School of Medicine. Imaging Faculty actively teach and mentor across departments—including Radiology residents, Cardiology fellows, and the Advanced Cardiac Imaging fellow—reflecting our integrated imaging culture.
Nationally Recognized: Our staff is amongst the nations’ leaders in bringing advances in cardiovascular diagnosis and treatment. With one of the largest heart transplant programs in the country, Tufts achieved a record 70 transplants in 2024. Innovations include non-invasive monitoring of transplant rejection and expanded donor pool through DCD transplantation.
Boston: A Global Hub of Innovation
Located in the heart of Boston—one of the world’s great centers for medicine, biotechnology, and higher education—Tufts Medical Center offers a vibrant academic environment.
