IES, Integrative Emergency Services, is seeking a full-time Hospitalist Co-Medical Director Critical Care    to join our established group at Johnson Memorial Health in Franklin, Indiana.

Hospitalist Service

Encounters per Day: 15-20

Admissions per Day: 4-6

Shifts Times: 7a - 7p, 7p - 7a

Day Coverage: 1 physician & 1 APP

Night Coverage: 1 APP with physician on-call

Rotation Schedule: 7-on/7-off; flexible may be able to accommodate other schedules

Procedures: Preferred but not required: intubations, central lines

Respond to Codes: Yes

RRT: Yes

EMR: Cerner

Hospital Beds: 40

ICU Beds: 6

  Critical Care Co-Medical Director Role

• Provide on-site management of the clinical and administrative aspects for the Hospitalist service
• Review the provider schedule and ensure adequate staffing
• Actively participate in the recruitment and retention of qualified physicians and advanced practice providers
• Supervise staff, provide feedback, and assure provision of high quality care
• Manage the quality improvement plan including attending regular meetings and review of medical records
• Assure departmental compliance with JCAHO standards
• Serve as liaison between hospital administration and clinical staff and provide regular feedback to IES leadership
