Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated internal medicine or family medicine physician to join our growing team and provide high-quality medical care in skilled nursing facilities (SNFs) / nursing homes in Beaumont, Texas.

Our practice has experienced growth, with this being our fifth new position in recent months. We are proud of our exceptionally low turnover rate.

We are seeking Internal Medicine or Family Medicine physicians to provide compassionate, high-quality care at skilled nursing facilities (SNFs) and nursing homes in Beaumont, Texas. There is also the opportunity to serve as the SNF medical co-director with additional compensation.

This position is ideal for a locum tenens or part-time position and offers flexible hours ranging from 1 half-day to 1 day a week, with the option to expand to 3 days per week based on interest. There are also opportunities to serve as a SNF medical director with additional compensation.

Each facility is supported by a dedicated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant who rounds regularly, resulting in a minimal number of phone calls or messages to the physician.

We offer a highly competitive salary. Please note that the listed salary is based on a full-time equivalent for this position.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct acute and chronic care management visits for residents in the skilled nursing facility or nursing home.
• Occasionally respond to calls, texts, and other requests from the facilities.
• Maintain a courteous and professional attitude when communicating with patients, families, and other healthcare providers.
• No overnight call duties.

Required Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Texas medical license.
• Board certification in Internal Medicine (IM) or Family Medicine (FM).
