Pulmonary Critical Care Opportunity with Established Private Practice in Sunny Tucson, Arizona!

Job Description

Are you a fellowship-trained Pulmonary Critical Care physician seeking a balanced, fulfilling role in a welcoming desert city with year-round sunshine? Join an established, high-volume private practice partnered with Tenet Healthcare in Tucson, Arizona, and become part of a dedicated team delivering exceptional inpatient and outpatient pulmonary care.

Opportunity Highlights:

  • Full-time, employed role with a well-established private practice

  • Office hours: Monday–Thursday (8AM–5PM) & Friday (8AM–12PM)

  • 60% outpatient – structured schedule with strong clinic support

  • 2 dedicated procedure days/week 

  • Hospital call: 1 week on / 1 week off – sustainable schedule with ample recovery

  • Patient volume:

    • Clinic: ~25 patients/day

    • Hospital: ~15 patients/day

  • Advanced resources available onsite:

    • Bronchoscopes & Bronch Ultrasound

    • Pulmonary Function Testing Machines

This role offers both clinical autonomy and the stability of a high-performing team, with the option to grow into partnership in a thriving practice.

Ideal Candidate:

  • MD or DO

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pulmonary & Critical Care

  • Fellowship training in Interventional Pulmonology preferred

  • Arizona licensed or eligible to obtain licensure

  • Strong interest in both inpatient critical care and advanced outpatient pulmonary procedures
