BSWH is seeking a BE/BC Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon to join our outstanding Orthopedic Surgery program in Pflugerville, TX.

We are looking for a committed team player with a favorable work/ training history. The ideal candidate should be focused on quality, and be able to effectively collaborate with referring physicians, agencies, and other professionals to provide optimum patient care within our award-winning integrated health care system.

Position Highlights:

  1. Seeking an experienced orthopedic traumatologist to join a dynamic and growing team.
  2. Opportunity to develop and elevate the trauma department from Level III to Level II designation.
  3. Candidates with program development experience are strongly preferred.
  4. Call schedule: 1 in 3 rotation.
  5. Collaborative team includes:
    1. 3 fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeons specializing in Hand, Sports Medicine, and Joint Reconstruction
    2. 2 Physician Assistants
    3. Adding an additional Traumatologist
  6. Employed position offering:

Qualifications:

  1. Doctorate Degree in Medicine
  2. Licensed to Practice Medicine in the state of Texas by the Texas Medical Board
  3. Employee shall be currently board certified in his or her specialty or demonstrate active pursuit of board certification as defined by the appropriate specialty board of the American Board of Medical Specialties or the Bureau of Osteopathic Specialists.
