Job Description

Saint Francis Healthcare System, Southeast Missouri’s only Level III Trauma Center in the region, is seeking two BC/BE Trauma/Acute Care Surgeons to join our esteemed Medical Partners.

Recognized with a Leapfrog Group Grade A and ranked among Becker’s Top 20 financially stable healthcare systems, Saint Francis offers a state-of-the-art environment where providers thrive in a culture of excellence and innovation.
Our emergency and trauma center is a state-of-the-art facility with 32 rooms and serves nearly 42,000 patients annually. The facility houses:

·26 private treatment rooms with direct access to bathrooms
·3 trauma rooms
·2 triage rooms
·1 special procedure room
·Specially designated children’s exam areas and equipment specifically tailored to treat children of all ages

·Join an established, growing, trauma program with 4 full-time General Surgeons and 5 full-time, experienced Trauma Advanced Practice Providers.

·10, 24-hour shifts per month. 120 shifts annually.
·24/7 in-house support from Trauma APPs
·Access to two da Vinci Xi® robotic systems
·Dedicated surgical team with first assistants and OR rooms
·Strong Hospitalist and Intensivist teams with a 20-bed open-floor ICU
·EMR: EPIC

Benefits:
· $615,000 Annual Base
·Commencement Bonus or a Monthly Stipend option for Residents - $50K
·Student Loan Repayment Available, PSLF qualifying site
·Monthly APP Stipend
·Relocation Allowance up to $15,000
·Comprehensive benefits that include CME time + stipend, paid malpractice with tail coverage, health + dental insurance, and retirement plans.

Requirements:
· Board Eligible/Board Certified in General Surgery (Trauma Fellowship preferred)
· Missouri physician license or ability to obtain upon credentialing
· Active Missouri DEA registration or ability to obtain upon credentialing
· BLS , ACLS, PALS, certification or ability to obtain upon credentialing
