Seeking a General Cardiologist to practice in downtown Fort Worth, Texas

Job Description

Requirements:

  1. MD or DO candidates.
  2. Internal Medicine residency completion required from an accredited ACGME program.
  3. Cardiology fellowship completion required from an accredited program.
  4. Must be board certified or board eligible in cardiology, preferably ASE.
  5. Current Texas license or willingness to obtain.
  6. Nuclear cardiology experience/training desired, but not required.
  7. Cath skills not required.
  8. Advanced imaging training is preferred, but not required.
  9. Seeking a candidate ready to practice immediately.

  2. Competitive salary will be offered with productivity incentives.

  • Weekend call schedule is 1:5

  • This group practices on the campus of Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Fort Worth – a Level 1 Trauma facility that has earned The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval® and the American Heart Association’s Heart-Check mark for Comprehensive Cardiac Care Center Certification. This is only the second facility in Texas (and is one of fewer than 20 hospitals in the U.S.) to have achieved this level of distinction.
  • The group also travels to see clinic patients to two satellite locations, in the nearby Fort Worth suburbs of Burleson and Willow Park.
