The Mayo Clinic Department of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation in Rochester, MN is seeking a Pediatric Rehabilitation Medicine Physician to join our practice.
The Division of Pediatric Rehabilitation Medicine includes three board-certified Pediatric Physiatrists and two dedicated nurses. Our group has a robust outpatient practice with general and specialty clinics encompassing a wide breadth of diagnoses. We provide care for children and adolescents on our CARF-accredited inpatient pediatric rehabilitation unit as well as consultative services in the attached children’s hospital. The division has a very active procedural practice for performing chemo denervation and chemo neurolysis. At Mayo Clinic Children's, more than 260 physicians with pediatric specialty expertise offer integrated care in over 70 specialty programs and clinics to children and teenagers from all 50 states and more than 70 countries each year. Our experienced nursing staff as well as physical and occupational therapists, speech and language pathologists, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, social workers, child psychologists and neuropsychologists, child life specialists and others contribute to pediatric specialized care. Mayo Eugenio Litta Children’s Hospital is a 148-bed, state-of-the-art inpatient facility. Hallmarks of our practice include collegial relationships with other pediatric divisions, unparalleled multispecialty care, easy interaction and ability to coordinate care with other pediatric specialists, a mechanism for readily transitioning our adult patients to adult providers, and a unifying belief among all that the needs of the patient come first. The Division of Pediatric Rehabilitation Medicine also supports both an ACGME-accredited fellowship in Pediatric Rehabilitation Medicine and an ACGME-accredited PM&R residency.
Qualifications
Candidates must be board-certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation with advanced fellowship training and board-certification /board eligibility in Pediatric Rehabilitation Medicine. We are looking for a physician who possesses eagerness, creativity, and curiosity to partner with colleagues in propelling the field of pediatric physiatry into the future. An ideal candidate has a strong interest in a clinical position with teaching and research opportunities.

License or Certification
