Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - Cedar City, UT

About this role:

As an Advanced Practice Provider in Cardiology, you'll work with 2 Non-Invasive Cardiologist, and 2 other APPS to provide top-notch care and patient experience. Here are some highlights you can expect

• This is an outpatient only cardiology position working at our clinic in Cedar City, UT
• You would work 4 ten hour day shifts Mon-Fri with your day off being determined by the department
• There is no call or weekends with this position
• In the clinic, you would see approximately 14 patients per day

What you'll bring:

We hire people, not words on paper. But we also expect excellence, which is why we require:

• Must have or be eligible for a current and unrestricted NP or PA Utah License
• APRN or PA-C degree from an accredited program
• AANP or NCCPA certification
• BLS and ACLS certification, and DEA
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Advanced Practitioner, preferably in Cardiology

Life in Cedar City, Utah

The population of Cedar City is approximately 40,000. The area has recently experienced major population growth, and the trend is expected to continue. The area is known for its breathtaking scenery and is the gateway to the nation's largest concentration of national parks. Recreational activities for the entire family include camping, hiking, backpacking, fishing and mountain biking. There is a moderate four-season climate, and during winter months residents can ski in the morning and play golf in nearby communities in the afternoon. Educational opportunities are available through Utah Tech University and Southern Utah University (SUU). Summer activities include the Utah Summer Games and the Utah Shakespeare Festival, recipient of the Tony Award for Outstanding Regional Theatre.
