We are Douglas C.A.R.E.S, a child-friendly environment for assessment, advocacy, and crisis counseling concerning child abuse and prevention located in Roseburg, Oregon. Our mission is to eradicate child abuse and neglect in Douglas County through effective, compassionate response and prevention, thereby protecting children and uplifting families.

We are looking for a highly qualified, caring and driven person to fill the role of Medical Director. In this position, you will be responsible for the overall direction of the medical services of the Child Advocacy Center, including providing exams for children suspected of being victims of abuse and neglect, Policy and Procedure implementation, Project Development, overseeing medical department personnel, and being the liaison between our work and community medical providers. Teamwork is essential, as you work together to coordinate direct services for our clients.

Our Medical Director is a full-time position with a competitive pay rate of $155,000-$175,000. We also offer full Health Insurance, 200 hours of PTO, an Employee Assistance Program, and the option for a simple IRA with a 3% match.
This work is performed on-site. We believe the best way for children to receive services is in person. We strive to maintain a clean, safe and healthy environment where children can feel free to express themselves and connect with their providers.
