Our Trauma Program provides comprehensive, team-based care for injured patients from admission through recovery, and we’re seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (APP – Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our trauma team.

Your Schedule
- Full-time, exempt role
- Four 10-hour shifts per week, Monday–Friday, with some flexibility based on clinic needs
- No call expectations at this time (subject to change with notice)
What You’ll Do
- Manage clinic visits for adult and pediatric trauma patients
- Conduct histories, physical exams, pre-op and discharge summaries
- Order and interpret labs and imaging, and present findings to trauma surgeons
- Assist with surgical procedures and provide OR support as needed
- Prescribe medications and perform procedures within scope of practice
- Facilitate referrals, transfers, and community resource connections
- Participate in quality improvement, policy development, and team meetings
- Educate patients and families on recovery, health maintenance, and prevention
What You Bring
- Graduate of an accredited NP or PA program with national certification
- Current Oregon license (or ability to obtain)
- DEA registration, BLS, and ATLS certification (ACLS required if practicing sedation)
- Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
- Proficiency with EMR systems
Preferred:
- Prior trauma surgery or surgical clinic experience
- Epic EMR experience
