Job Description

Bothwell Regional Health Center (BRHC), located in Sedalia, Missouri, just one hour between Kansas City and Columbia (home of the University of Missouri - Mizzou Tigers), is offering a an excellent General Surgery practice opportunity. Details include:

  1. Step into an established physician team, sharing call with three other board-certified general surgeons and a nurse practitioner
  2. Practice in a large office and attend just one hospital; hospital employment means no hassle of managing a practice
  3. Enjoy a variety of cases including laparoscopic and endoscopic procedures with minor trauma and excellent specialty support
  4. Efficient five-suite surgery department with block scheduling is staffed with BC Anesthesiologists and CRNA’s
  5. Endoscopy suites are also available and robotics will be an option
  6. State-of-the-art imaging available at the office location and the hospital and offers MRI, CT, x-ray, ultrasound, nuclear medicine, mobile pet scanner and stereotactic breast biopsy, and 3-D mammography!
  7. Cancer Care of Central Missouri provides comprehensive oncology/hematology care in a beautiful facility on campus with infusion center, linear accelerator and accredited cancer conference
  8. In-patient support at BRHC is covered by the Bothwell hospitalist team
  9. Teach, if interested, in the Bothwell Family Medicine residency and the Longitudinal medical student program, with appointment from the University of Missouri School of Medicine-Columbia
