Qualified candidates:
- MD or DO degree in internal medicine or subspecialty
- Board Certified in Internal Medicine
- Three years’ experience as an associate program director or medical student clerkship director
- Ideal candidates will have an interest in teaching
- Ability to work as a team member
- Excellent communication skills for clear, compassionate interactions with patients and their families
- Commitment to quality, patient safety and overall excellence in evidence based clinical care

Practice Overview:
- Operations of the program include all activities related to recruitment, selection, instruction, supervision, advising, evaluation, documentation, and advancement of residents.
- Ensures continuing accreditation of the program through application of ACGME common and specialty requirements.
- At least 50% of time dedicated to GME leadership with remaining clinical time spent in outpatient, inpatient or hybrid setting
