The Department of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery at Loyola University Health System is currently seeking a highly qualified Cardiothoracic surgeon to join established academic based practice.
The ideal must have experience in both heart and lung transplantation. Additional, participation in all facets of the ECMO and LVAD programs would be ideal.
Loyola is among the leading transplant programs, having performed a total of 1,090 lung and 929 heart transplants.Three to five years experience is preferred, but will consider exceptionally trained junior candidates.Definite potential for future leadership positions. The candidate will be offered an academic appointment depending on their clinical and academic achievement in the Stritch School of Medicine. Teaching and research opportunities are plentiful.
