Stormont Vail Health, a premier regional, physician-led health system, is searching for a dynamic hospitalist physician in our rural Junction City location. Stormont Vail Health Flint Hills Campus is licensed for 49 beds with 10 ED bays. The average patient census is 12–15. We have two full-time hospitalists working 7 on and 7 off, 24-hour coverage, with Advanced Practice Provider support for 6 of the 7 nights. Stormont Vail Flint Hills Campus is located just 20 miles from Manhattan, Kansas, home of the K-State Wildcats with a regional airport providing daily flights to Chicago and Dallas/Fort Worth.

We have a well-established diverse group of hospitalists at our Topeka location that are available 24/7 for support by phone. Our hospitalists have a full scope of support staff along with employed Emergency Medicine physicians, an Urgent Care and a full complement of medical, surgical, laboratory and radiology services.

Qualifications: Must be an MD/DO from an Accredited School of Medicine and Board Certified/Board Eligible in Internal Medicine. An experienced hospitalist that is Board Certified in Family Medicine may also be considered. The desire and ability to promote patient, physician and staff satisfaction and to be licensed or eligible to obtain medical licensure with the state of Kansas is also required.
