About this role: As an Advanced Practice Provider at Intermountain's Urological Institute in St. George , you'll be part of a team dedicated to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. We treat a wide range of adult urologic conditions, including kidney stones, BPH, incontinence, genitourinary cancers, and sexual dysfunction, using the latest treatments and technologies. To meet growing demand, we've expanded to a second location, allowing us to serve more patients, reduce wait times, and maintain our commitment to compassionate care.
In this role, you'll join a collaborative team of four physicians and four APPs, caring for patients with urologic conditions in a high-volume outpatient setting. You'll manage your own panel of new, established, and post-operative patients, working closely with the team to deliver efficient, high-quality care. The anticipated volume is 16-20 patients per day. Although the procedure volume is low, you'll need a solid foundational knowledge of foley and suprapubic catheter placement to effectively guide and oversee patient care.
- You will practice at our Urological Institute located at St. George Regional Hospital
- Your schedule will be four 10-hour shifts Monday-Friday; weekday off may rotate based on clinic/hospital needs
- You may provide call support on a rotating basis once fully trained
Requirements of this role. - Minimum 2 years of experience as a practicing NP or PA
- Unrestricted Utah NP or PA license
- Current Utah DEA certificate required prior to start date
- Current BLS for healthcare providers
- Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health's credentialing process
Preferences of this role. - Prior urology experience is highly preferred
- Opportunities for OR assistance are available to APPs who already have relevant experience. (Note: OR training is not provided.)
