About this role: As a Maternal Fetal Medicine Physician with Intermountain Health, yo u will join a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience.
- You will be part of a nationally renowned regional team of 30 MFM partners, as 1 of 4 local MFMs serving in and around Utah County.
- Practice primarily focused on outpatient ultrasound, consultation (outpatient and inpatient), prenatal diagnosis, with rare deliveries only if desired.
- Work in close collaboration with Obstetric Hospitalists, general OB/GYNs, and Neonatologists.
- Will be involved in medical student and resident training.
- If applicant is interested, research, private clinic, or administrative responsibilities may be available.
- Home call is 1:15. Responsibilities while on call include telephone and virtual consultation for Intermountain OB providers, medical direction, and triage of maternal transports throughout our system.

What you'll bring: - MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine
- Board certified or boards eligible Maternal-Fetal Medicine
- Active, unobstructed Utah medical licensure, or the ability to obtain
- U.S. ACGME Residency
- Fellowship training in Maternal-Fetal Medicine
- Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health's credentialing process
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certification
MFM At Intermountain Our nationally renowned MFM Division serves patients and obstetric providers in seven states, provides comprehensive care of high-risk pregnancies, inpatient and outpatient consultation, high-level fetal ultrasound, prenatal diagnosis, perinatal genetic services, and invasive fetal treatment.
The Maternal-Fetal Diagnostic Centers are located within four Intermountain Hospitals, with satellite clinics across Montana, Utah, and Nevada. The Division actively participates in collaborative clinical programs with the University of Utah.
Our MFM physicians fulfill vital administrative roles within Intermountain Health and serve as models of evidence-based care. Strong candidates will possess a solid commitment to education and those with research funding are provided with protected time. MFM physicians may apply for clinical appointments in the University of Utah Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Division of Maternal-Fetal Medicine for the purpose of training and education of MFM fellows, OB/GYN residents, and medical students who rotate through our facilities. MFM physicians may also actively participate in training family medicine residents and medical and osteopathic students.
