Peak Gastroenterology Associates is a leading provider of comprehensive gastrointestinal (GI) care in Colorado Springs. Our dedicated team is committed to delivering exceptional patient experiences, advancing GI health, and supporting our providers with strong clinical infrastructure.

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Gastroenterology Hospitalist to join our growing team at Memorial Central (and Memorial North as needed). This position offers flexible scheduling, competitive compensation, and the ability to practice in a supportive, patient-centered environment.

Compensation & Benefits

• Base Salary: $400,000 – $500,000.

• wRVU Productivity Incentive: Physicians receive 100% wRVU credit for all procedures performed, including secondary procedures that are typically reduced under standard payer rules.

• Retention Bonus: $150,000 total, paid in $50,000 annual installments over 3 years.

• Profits Interest: $250,000 available for highly qualified gastroenterologists.

• Expedited Partnership Track: With the ability to co-invest in Gastro Care Partners (GCP).

Position Highlights

• Coverage at one hospital only – Memorial Central or Memorial North.

• Focused on inpatient and outpatient GI procedures.

• Dedicated Advanced Practice Provider (APP) support for consults, follow-ups, and phone calls — allowing you to focus on procedures and rounding.

• Typical workload:

  • 6 outpatient procedures/day (weekdays only, no weekends).

  • 10–12 inpatients/day.

• Hours: 7 AM – 5 PM most days.

• Night call from home with rare emergent procedures requiring on-site presence.

Work Schedule Options

• Option 1: 7 days on / 7 days off (full 24-hour coverage).

• Option 2: 7 daytimes on / 7 days off (no nights).

• Option 3: 5 days per week including nights.

• Option 4: 5 daytimes per week (no nights).

Qualifications

• Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Gastroenterology.

• Licensed (or eligible) to practice medicine in Colorado.

• Strong clinical and procedural skills in gastroenterology.

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
