Endocrinologist – Serve Veterans at James A. Haley VA in Sunny Tampa, FL

  The James A. Haley Veterans’ Hospital (JAHVH) in Tampa, Florida, is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Endocrinologist to join our team caring for America’s Veterans. This is an exciting opportunity to practice evidence-based medicine in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment while serving those who have served our nation.

Position Highlights:

  • Provide comprehensive care in the evaluation, diagnosis, and management of patients with endocrine disorders, including diabetes, thyroid disease, adrenal and pituitary disorders, and metabolic bone disease.

  • Participate in specialty and general endocrine clinics, as well as inpatient consultative services.

  • Work closely with an interdisciplinary team including primary care, surgery, nursing, and other subspecialties to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

  • Opportunity to teach and mentor residents, fellows, and medical students through our strong academic affiliation with the University of South Florida (USF) Morsani College of Medicine.

  • Utilize advanced telehealth modalities to expand access to care for Veterans across the region.

Qualifications:

  • U.S. citizenship required

  • M.D. or D.O. degree with current, unrestricted license to practice medicine in any U.S. state or territory

  • Completion of accredited residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism

  • Board Certified/Board Eligible in Endocrinology
