People First in Long Beach Local Team Collaboration:
- Long Beach Memorial Medical Center is a 420-bed non-profit teaching hospital that has been recognized as a major regional provider of medical and surgical services by US News and World Report.
- Intensivists will rotate through both Med/Surg ICU and CVICU (depending on need).
- 15-bed CVICU (non-teaching service)
- 32-bed Med/Surg ICU, which is the teaching service with Internal Medicine residents and Pulmonary/Critical Care Fellows
- EMR: Cerner with Dragon for dictation
Qualifications:
- Board-certified or board-eligible critical care physicians (MD or DO)
- A commitment to excellence in clinical service, with strong problem-solving abilities essential for the ICU setting
- Active California medical license preferred
Practice in the Heart of the Community Scheduling:
- 7 on 7 off schedule. One week of days and one week of nights per month.

- This is an ideal environment for someone wanting to care for the full spectrum of critically ill patients.
