Providence St. Vincent Medical Center is seeking a full-time, experienced Obstetrician to join an established team of OB Hospitalists. This role provides timely care in low and high-risk situations within a collaborative group of certified nurse midwives (CNMs), OB/GYNs, and maternal-fetal medicine specialists in providing quality, coordinated care to families.
Responsibilities include OB triage, coverage for high risk MFM patients with MFM support, back up for OB/GYN generalist colleagues (both employed and private practice, and for surgical assisting, and occasional backup of the midwives. Each year, about one of every seven babies born in Oregon is delivered at Providence St. Vincent - more than any other medical facility in the state. It is considered a Level III obstetrical and NICU unit and can offer resuscitation down to 22-weeks old.
