Duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Provide diagnosis, treatment, and management of both acute and chronic urologic conditions.
Perform a full range of urologic surgical procedures, including endoscopic, laparoscopic, and open surgeries.
Conduct outpatient clinics, inpatient consultations, and operative care for Veterans with urologic disorders.
Interpret diagnostic imaging, lab studies, and pathology relevant to urologic disease.
Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and provide collaborative care across specialties.
Contribute to the education and training of medical students, residents, and fellows as part of an academic environment.
Ensure compliance with VA, federal, and national (JCAHO) standards for quality and safety.
Participate in clinical research and quality improvement initiatives as desired.
