🩺 The Role: Full-Time Emergency Medicine APP/APRN

Based at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center, this role is ideal for APPs who thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity ED and want to grow long-term with a tight-knit, collaborative team.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide care for patients across all ESI levels in a 42-bed ED (avg. 1.3–1.5 patients/hr).
• Perform advanced procedures within your scope (suturing, splinting, intubation, central lines, chest tubes, LPs, sedation, FAST exams, etc.).
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other APPs.
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and support quality initiatives.
• Participate in quality improvement and scheduled discussions with leadership
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.

🧠 The Ideal Candidate

We’re looking for someone who is:

• Is  Qualified by either/or:
• Completed an approved/accredited APP/APRN – Emergency Medicine internship/fellowship/residency
• Is Certified by the AAENP
• Has 12 months of experience working in the Emergency Department as an APP or APRN (experience under any other licensure will not be considered)
• Licensed in Wyoming; DEA required.
• Committed to living in or near Cheyenne, WY and growing with the team
• Professional, reliable, and legally eligible to work in the U.S.
• Current ACLS, ATLS, and PALS certifications.

🏥 The Hospital: Cheyenne Regional Medical Center

Founded in 1867 as a frontier “tent” hospital, Cheyenne Regional Medical Center has deep roots in the community. Today, it is a 222-bed acute care hospital and Level II Trauma Center, continuing its pioneering spirit of compassionate, world-class care.

ED Highlights:

• Patient volume: ~1.3–1.5 patients/hr.
• Capacity: 42 beds.
• EMR: Epic.
• 24/7 transfer center
• Support Services: ICU (17-bed), cath lab, stroke and chest pain center
