FARGO, NORTH DAKOTA (USA). Sanford Health's multi-subspecialty pathology group is seeking an AP/CP Board Certified, Cytopathology or Breast subspecialty fellowship-trained pathologist for a 1.0 FTE position. Additional surgical pathology fellowship training preferred but not required.

- All pathologists are subspecialty fellowship-trained and the practice is crafted to allow pathologists to sign out primarily or solely in their fellowship-trained areas
- Department works closely with the Roger Maris Cancer Center and the Edith Sanford Breast Center, along with multidisciplinary subspecialists in radiology, surgery, and oncology
- Wide variety of complex and routine cases across organ systems, including rare/interesting cases
- Guaranteed competitive salary first 2 years with upside after year 1 (upside is equal across pathologists with no partner buy-in; Pathologists are hospital/enterprise-employed, not privately contracted)
- Relocation stipend and yearly renewing CME funds
- No research or teaching required, although available
- Minimum of 6 weeks’ time off in year 1; vacation time increases with additional years of service
- Grossing, histology, and cytology labs are on-site with pathologists; minimal to no travel required
- PA’s & grossing staff perform all gross dissections, including frozen sections
- No autopsies
- Infrequent on-call duties (5-6 weeks/year) and non-burdensome/light; pathology technician is also on-call 24/7/365 to support, including cutting frozen sections for on-call pathologist
