Under the leadership of the Chief Medical Officer for Primary Care, the physician (Internal Medicine or Family Medicine) serves as the Medical Director of Quality and Resource Stewardship. Leading system-wide initiatives that improve care quality, advance value-based outcomes, and ensure wise use of healthcare resources—while partnering closely with clinicians, administrators, and leadership teams across the Henry Ford Health enterprise.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities
Collaborate with the Henry Ford Mosaic Clinically Integrated Network to enhance Value-Based Care performance and improve CIN scorecard metrics
Lead initiatives targeting improved outcomes on Primary Health Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Direct efforts to raise Value-Based Care standards, including striving for higher Medicare 5-Star ratings
Act as Physician Champion for both the Diabetes Care Connection and Ambulatory Antimicrobial Stewardship programs.
Serve as Chair for the Primary Care Quality Workgroup Committee and the Primary Health Clinical Practice Committee, guiding quality improvement efforts & targets
Influence the future direction of primary care workflows by making strategic operational decisions as a member of the Primary Care Executive Team
Maintain ongoing engagement with Primary Care sites to review quality data, share best practices, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Represent Primary Care in meetings with payors, focusing on quality metrics and advocating for the interests of primary care providers and patients.
Champion Primary Care priorities, ensuring they remain aligned with the broader objectives of the organization.
Serve as a representative for Henry Ford Health for Quality initiatives both regionally and nationally on behalf of Primary Care
Maintain part time clinical practice

Qualifications
1. Primary Care Physician with five or more years of leadership experience
2. Demonstrated track record of commitment to excellence and dedication to maintaining high standards for quality outcomes
3. Demonstrated ability to collaborate across disciplines to achieve measurable improvements
4. Strong analytical and communication skills
5. Comfortable with public speaking
