As a Physician Assistant you will:Duties - Perform a variety of professional direct health care clinical duties within the field of general sports medicine, orthopedics, and family medicine including but not limited to joint and soft tissue injections. - Perform medical screening examinations. - Gather health and medical history from the patient or family member to record findings. - Provide a full range of emergency services or crises interventions in the absence of the physician. - Write prescriptions, orders the administration of medications, dispenses medications and prescribed controlled substance in accordance with approved treatment protocols. - Provide consultation, teaching, and coordination with patients and their family members of treatment and medical care.
