We have  exciting Physician opportunities at the San Mateo Medical Center (SMMC). SMMC is the County of San Mateo’s public hospital and clinics health care system. We are currently looking for Board Certified or Board Eligible Physicians trained in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine or Geriatrics, to join one of our clinics.    

$253,739.20 - $299,915,.20 Annually (Sign-on bonus for qualifying candidates through the Health Plan of San Mateo)

Excellent Benefit Package including: Additional 5% increase in salary for each qualifying board certification up to two (2) Boards
Language: Spanish speaking is strongly preferred but not required

Licensure/Certification:
License to practice medicine or osteopathy in the State of California.
Board certification or Board eligibility in Family Practice, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Adolescent or Geriatric Medicine or a related area 

We provide full comprehensive primary care in our older adult, adult, teen, and pediatric outpatient clinics serving the underserved population. Currently we have full time vacancies in our Ron Robinson Senior Care Center (RRSCC) clinic, located within San Mateo Medical Center in the San Francisco Bay Area. 

Our clinic is designed to meet the unique needs of individuals aged 60 and above. 

Through an interdisciplinary team approach, we provide full comprehensive primary care via our medical doctors and nurse practitioners who are supported by clinic- dedicated psychiatrist, psychologist, neuropsychologist, pharmacist, nutritionist, podiatrist and social worker along with our nursing and patient service staff. 

Additional resource includes a bi-monthly County inter-agency meeting to discuss complex cases and home visits for homebound patients. 

Additionally our clinics currently have both adult and pediatric per diem openings.
