UPMC Radiation Oncologist
UPMC a growing, multisite health care system is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible radiation oncologist to join a well-established and expanding program at UPMC Hillman Cancer Center in Central Pennsylvania, centered in Harrisburg, PA.
The UPMC Central PA system consists of 4 radiation centers operating as part of the NCI-designated UPMC Hillman Cancer Center. The UPMC Central PA radiation oncology department is staffed by 9 full-time radiation oncologists and 3 per-diem radiation oncologists. UPMC Central PA utilizes Varian TrueBeam with AlignRT, Trilogy, Halcyon, and Edge machines with Aria/Eclipse. We provide multiple services including IMRT/VMAT, IGRT, SBRT, SRS, and HDR brachytherapy.
Opportunity:
Requires strong radiation oncology clinical background.
Participate in an active multi-disciplinary practice, clinical research, and teaching initiatives through collaboration with UPMC Hillman Cancer Center
Well-established Medical Oncology program as well breast, thoracic, colorectal, head and neck, GYN, and GU surgical oncology programs.
Strong physics, dosimetry, nursing and radiation therapist support
Multiple ancillary services including Genetic counseling, Oncology-specific rehab and physical therapy, Survivorship, Integrative Oncology, Oncology specific dietician, social worker, and financial counselors
Potential for UPMC Hillman Cancer Center Faculty appointment

Professional Skills:
Qualified applicants must possess an MD degree or equivalent
Board certified or board eligible in radiation oncology
Eligible for licensure in the state of Pennsylvania
Three-five years of practice experience preferred. Will consider 2026 radiation oncology residency and fellowship graduates for candidacy.
