IU Health Medical Group-South Region is hiring! We are looking for anAdvanced Practice Provider Team Leadto lead our Urologydepartment.
Position Details and Qualifications:
- 10% administrative time (protected time)- appox. 4-6 hours/week
- Must be board certified
- Must have 2 years' experience as an APP
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for APPs in your specialty or location.
- Coordinate daily operations to ensure appropriate coverage and patient care.
- Review and monitor quality, productivity, and documentation compliance reports.
- Communicate important updates from leadership to the APP team.
- Identify operational or clinical concerns and escalate as appropriate.
- Assist in onboarding, orientation, and mentorship of new APPs.
- Lead regular team huddles, meetings, and check-ins to maintain alignment.
- Support recruitment efforts by participating in interviews and candidate evaluations.
- Foster a positive, collaborative work environment.
