Sarasota Memorial First Physicians Group has an excellent opportunity for a BC/BE Maternal Fetal Medicine physician to join a well-established practice in Sarasota, Florida. The ideal candidate should have experience managing high-risk pregnancies, expertise in prenatal diagnostic techniques and ultrasound. The practice is accredited by AIUM. This is a 100% consultative practice: no in-house night call or deliveries. Call coverage includes phone consultations at night and hospital rounds. There is an OB hospitalist group providing 24/7 in-house coverage.

Sarasota Memorial Hospital performs over 4,500 deliveries annually and features a 33-bed Level III NICU, along with a Level III Maternal Certification from the Joint Commission. It serves as the tertiary care referral center for Obstetrics and Neonatology for a 4-county area. The hospital also serves as a site for clinical rotations in OBGYN for the FSU College of Medicine.

The hospital is a 901-bed not-for-profit regional medical center and a Level II Trauma Center and is among the largest public health systems in Florida. Sarasota is located only minutes from the beautiful beaches that line the Gulf of Mexico. The white powdered sand of Siesta Key was recently awarded the title of the #1 beach in the U.S.
