UVA Health is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Primary Care and Same Day/Acute Care team in Culpeper. This role offers a dynamic schedule of same-day/acute care visits, with the support of a nationally recognized academic health system.

What You’ll Do
Deliver high-quality care in both primary care and same-day/acute care settings
Perform assessments, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop treatment plans
Prescribe medications and therapies within Virginia regulations
Collaborate with physicians and specialists to ensure continuity of care
Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, and preventive care
Participate in quality initiatives, professional development, and student/resident teaching opportunities
What We’re Looking For
Graduate of an accredited NP or PA program (Master’s degree required)
Licensed (or license-eligible) as an NP or PA in Virginia
Current BLS certification (ACLS/PALS/NRP may be required based on unit)
Strong communication skills, adaptability, and a commitment to patient-centered care
Physical & Work Environment
Standing for prolonged periods, bending/stooping, reaching, and repetitive motion (keyboard use)
Ability to lift/push/pull up to 100 lbs.
Exposure to typical outpatient clinical environment (blood/body fluids, infectious disease, etc.)
