Founded by our Central WA Family Medicine Residency program (CWFM) in 1993, CHCW has grown into an integrated community health center to include full spectrum primary care, pediatric, senior residential care, behavioral and addiction care, and dental serving the Yakima and Kittitas Counties at multiple sites.

Our Central Washington Family Medicine Residency (CWFM) needs a Pediatrician for Core Faculty to provide formal teaching, mentoring, and advising for our Resident Physicians. On-Site Support:

  1. Strong and robust Primary Care Behavioral Health with BHCs on site and warm handoffs within minutes
  2. Support services: lab, xray, pharmacy, evening clinic (certain services are site specific)
  3. Clinical Support: fully staffed with MAs, RNs, after-hours triage, and case managers
  4. Providers: Great blend of residents, new grads, mid-career, tenured physicians, and APPs

 

COMPENSATION AND PERKS

  1. Faculty Base Salary: $215,000-$225,000. Salary is based on 18-20 encounters on patient clinic days, and experience bonus. Additional incentives include meeting engagement/quality goals, and fellowship (if applicable)
  2. Medical, Dental, Vision, Rx, AD&D, Life, LTD, HSA, and FTCA malpractice coverage
  3. Employee premiums as low as $0-$25/month, with subsidized family coverage

QUALIFICATIONS

  1. MD/DO degree or IMG equivalent
  2. Completion of an accredited Family Medicine US Residency
  3. Additional prep instruction for program development, physician administrator, or faculty development fellowship is encouraged
  4. WA License or the ability to obtain a WA license
  5. DEA certificate
  6. BE/BC required
  7. Great peer references and in good standing
  8. Approved for credentialing with Medicare, Medicaid, and health plans
