The West Palm Beach VA Medical Center is seeking a Board-Certified Gastroenterologist to join our dedicated team of healthcare professionals serving America’s Veterans. Duties and Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Performing diagnostic and therapeutic gastroenterology procedures, including endoscopy and colonoscopy.
Communicating both diagnosis and plan of care to gastroenterology patients directly and through documentation in CPRS progress notes.
Following up on pathology for all GI biopsies performed at this facility and ensuring timely communication of results to patients.
Admission, work-up, diagnosis, and provision of non-surgical treatment, including consultation for patients admitted or in need of care for general medical problems.
Providing collaborative, team-based care and participating in multidisciplinary patient management.
Teaching and supervising trainees (if applicable).
