Opportunity Details

  • Position Type:Full-Time (0.8 FTE)
  • Schedule:Primary schedule supports the nocturnist team
  • Location:Grand Rapids, MI
  • Specialty:Hospital Medicine
  • Hospital Info: Team admits and provides services to all Internal Medicine patients, including PMI
  • Teaching Opportunities:Yes - Opportunity to teach students
  • Call Requirements: Inpatient shift-based only; no call

Requirements

  • Open to experienced or new graduate providers
  • APPs:Board certified in specialty prior to employment
  • Active Michigan medical license (or ability to obtain)
  • DEA license
  • BLS certification (must be maintained)

Duties & Responsibilities

A typical day may include:

  • Providing direct patient care
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
  • Participating in teaching and mentoring
  • Documenting in Epic EMR
  • Engaging in quality improvement initiatives
  • Supporting community health efforts
