Job Description

Location:
Eureka, CA

Eureka is a picturesque coastal city in Northern California known for its Victorian architecture, beautiful redwood forests, and stunning Pacific Ocean views. The area offers an exceptional quality of life with outdoor recreational activities and a vibrant arts scene.

Facility:
This established interventional pain management practice operates both a clinical setting and an outpatient surgery center. The facility provides comprehensive pain management services to the community with a focus on procedural interventions and patient-centered care.

Opportunity:
Board Certified/Eligible - Pain Medicine

Job Details:
Locum tenens position with 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off schedule pattern
Work 5 days per week: 3 days in clinic setting and 2 days in outpatient surgery center
Guaranteed 8 hours per day with overtime after 9 hours
Manage 12-15 patient encounters per shift
Perform various pain management procedures including epidurals, facet injections, and ablations
Must have current certification in Fluoroscopy by the California Radiologic Health Branch
Completion of an ACGME or AOA accredited residency in Anesthesiology or Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation required
Fellowship training in Pain Management/Pain Medicine or Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation required
Must provide case logs documenting performance of at least 100 cases representative of requested privileges
Need surgery center/hospital privileges experience
Active California medical license required (temporary FLURO license acceptable)
ACLS certification required
60-90 day credentialing timeframe
Start date: December 1, 2025 with ongoing coverage needs

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
