Cardiovascular Surgeon – Robust Support Staff, 8 Weeks Off, Relocation Bonus

Job Description

The Benefis Health System in Great Falls, Montana is seeking a motivated Cardiovascular Surgeon to join our medical group of 440 employed physicians and advanced practice clinicians covering a large catchment in Northcentral Montana.

 

Position description

  • Seeking a BE/BC Cardiovascular Surgeon to perform comprehensive cardiovascular procedures in a full-scope practice including CABG, valve replacement, TAVR, TEVAR, valve repair and aortic reconstruction

  • Current Heart & Vascular team of two cardiothoracic/vascular surgeons (one departing), interventional, structural and non-invasive cardiologists, electrophysiology and other healthcare professionals delivering comprehensive patient care

  • Brand new heart and vascular office space with 20 exam rooms, shared with all heart and vascular colleagues, opening Dec 2025

  • APP team takes primary call with surgeons on backup call 1:2

  • Robust support staff and advanced practice providers for enhanced efficiency and patient care

  • Level II trauma designation offering fixed and rotor wing in house air ambulance covering a 42,000 square mile region, with ability to care for everything except burns and organ transplants
