Join our Team at the Department of Veterans Medical Center, San Francisco, CA as a Physician - Daily Open Access Resource (DOAR) Director!
As part of the Veterans Integrated Services Network Clinical Resource Hub (VISN CRH) Team, the Daily Open Access Resource Medical Director will contribute to the completion of projects and utilization of resources to support the mission and goals of the VISN CRH. This individual is responsible for providing Primary Care specific education and consultation to CRH and VISN leadership, ensuring that CRH DOAR services are completed at the highest standard. The CRH DOAR Medical Director is required to exercise a high level of leadership and organizational skill, independent judgment, problem-solving ability, and content expertise in program development, implementation, and evaluation. The position requires the ability to communicate effectively with field staff and CRH leadership on a variety of clinical and administrative strategic priorities.
Benefits and Features
- Expected Salary Range from $245K to 320K (negotiable based on candidate's qualifications, credentials and experience).
- Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm Pacific Standard Time excluding Federal Holidays.
- Education Debt Reduction Program: Authorized.
- Remote: This position is eligible for Remote/Virtual work at location listed above. **This position is designated as a remote position, and we have disclosed to you that this position may fall under the Presidential Memorandum tiled "Return to In-Person Work" which will require you to go into the office.**
- Pay: Competitive salary, annual performance bonus, regular salary increases.
- Paid Time Off: 50-55 days of paid time off per year (26 days of annual leave, 13 days of sick leave, 11 paid Federal holidays per year and possible 5 day paid absence for CME).
- Retirement: Traditional federal pension (5 years vesting) and federal 401K with up to 5% in contributions by VA.
- Insurance: Federal health/vision/dental/term life/long-term care (many federal insurance programs can be carried into retirement).
- Licensure: 1 full and unrestricted license from any US State or territory.
- CME: Possible $1,000 per year reimbursement (must be full-time with board certification).
- Malpractice: Free liability protection with tail coverage provided.
- Contract: No Physician Employment Contract and no significant restriction on moonlighting.
