Neurology Job at Signature Healthcare in Brockton, MA

This is an outstanding opportunity for a BC/BE Neurologist to join a multi specialty group with over 50  Primary Care providers . The ideal candidate would be comfortable performing general cases in an inpatient and outpatient setting, the    two sites are only 6 miles apart. This is a full time role with 8 clinical sessions (32 clinical hours), and 8 admin hours, call is    1 in 4  evening phone call   Monday - Friday and every fourth weekend. Tele-Neurology group covers stroke cases in the ER

• Position involves in & out-patient responsibilities. In patient work at Brockton Hospital, outpatient clinic at 110 Liberty St. Brockton.
• Rund on patients on the inpatient service  attending to neurology consultations.
• Interview patients to obtain information such as complaints, symptoms, medical histories, and family histories.
• Diagnose neurological conditions based on interpretation of examination findings, histories, or test results.
• Develop treatment plans based on diagnoses and on evaluation of factors such as age and general health, or procedural risks and costs.
• Counsel patients or others on the background of neurological disorders including risk factors, or genetic or environmental concerns.
• Prepare, maintain, or review records that include patients' histories, neurological examination findings, treatment plans, or outcomes.
