The UNC School of Medicine proudly announces a two-year UNC Rural Obstetrics & Gynecology Fellowship, the first of its kind in the nation, training physician leaders to deliver exceptional women’s healthcare in rural maternal health.

UNC Health Rockingham Fellowship Site Highlights
UNC Women’s Health at Eden has served the women of Rockingham County, NC, and beyond for over 25 years. Our practice offers a 50/50 mix of OB and GYN, joining two OBGYNs, two NPs and exceptional clinical staff. UNC Health Rockingham’s Birthing Center has been recognized as “High Performing” for maternity care by U.S. News & World Report’s Best Hospitals for Maternity Care.
Located in the Piedmont Triad region of central North Carolina, Eden offers small town charm, low cost of living, and big-time outdoor adventure along our rivers and trails. Greensboro, NC’s third largest city, with many colleges/universities, nightlife, and fine dining is 25 miles south. Eden is 90 minutes from the scenic Blue Ridge Parkway, two hours to Raleigh and Charlotte, and four hours to the coast.
