Dell Children's Medical Center (DCMC) is seeking an exceptional pediatric hematologist to join our incredible team at the DCMC Children's Blood and Cancer Center in Austin, Texas!  As the clinical partner of Dell Medical School at the University of Texas at Austin, you will participate in the education of our future physicians.  As our community grows, we continue to expand our services so that our local children can receive the highest complexity of care right here in Austin!

• Provides highly complex care for all types of childhood cancers, bleeding and clotting disorders, leukemia and lymphoma, neuro-oncology, and sickle cell

  Responsibilities:

• Evaluates and treats patients with appropriate medical diagnostic and treatment skills.
• Recommends, participates in, and works to ensure the success of efforts to improve cost-effectiveness and quality of care provided to patients.
• Participates in academic programs (e.g. medical education and research) as requested.
• Provides appropriate documentation that meets insurance company requirements; appeal all denials in a timely manner.

Licensure/Certification/Registration:

Required Credential(s):
Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Texas Medical Board.

Education:
