Baptist Health Medical Group is seeking 1 BC/BE, fellowship trained, vascular neurologist to join our stroke program located in Louisville, KY at Baptist Health Louisville.
- Join a large, multi-specialty, neurology practice: 12 neurologists (3 boarded vascular MDs serve on IP/neuro-hospitalist team), 11 neurology PA/NP
- This position is 100% OP, with no IP practice or call responsibilities
- Baptist Louisville is the flagship facility in the largest healthcare system in KY
- The campus is a Thrombectomy-Capable Stroke Center (seeking CSC in 2027) seeing > 1300 stroke/TIA annually and performs ~120 thrombectomies/year
- IP stroke is covered by a 5-member (2 MD/3 NP) IP neurology team daily and served by 3 endovascular surgeons (all providers employed)
The goal of this position is to implement a:
- 100% vascular neurology/stroke f/u clinic to serve our large stroke population
- Implement a stroke/TIA, multi-disciplinary, prevention clinic, inclusive of multi-year tracking of clinic impact.
- Vascular referral clinic for our BHMG employed PCP physicians, referral standards TBD by the selected candidate
