Job Description

Providence Women’s Clinic is seeking a skilled Certified Nurse Midwife to join its established midwifery team serving Portland’s eastside. You will be welcomed as part of a collaborative practice, focused on providing team-based, high-value care to a culturally and ethnically diverse patient population. In this role, you will provide full scope midwifery care including prenatal, delivery, and postpartum care for baby and birthing parent. Births are attended at Providence Portland Medical Center which includes a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and OB Hospitalist support. Patients and deliveries are further supported by perinatologists, neonatologists, lactation consultants and social workers.   • Part-time, 0.8 FTE. Considered full-time for benefit purposes
  • Encompasses both clinic-based and inpatient/surgical settings
  • Group takes call in-house. Assigned call room for use when there is down time in the hospital
  • Minimum of 2-years of post-graduate clinical experience as Certified Nurse Midwife preferred; or new graduate Certified Nurse Midwife with 2-years recent clinical RN experience in antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum setting required
  • First Assist/C-Section surgical experience preferred
