Part-Time General Oncologist in Indianapolis

Job Description

IU Health is seeking a GeneralOncologist to join ourpractice in the Indianapolis area. Locations will include our CICC Methodist, CICC Fishers, theIU Health Joe & Shelly Schwarz Cancer Center, and CICC East!

  • Part-time employment opportunity for general oncology adult patients
    • 30 hours per/week
    • Includes full benefits
  • 100% clinical
  • 75% outpatient, 15% inpatient
  • At least 8 weekends of call annually (inpatient)

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide independent judgement in diagnosis and treatment of patients, formulation of treatment plans, and direction of the interdisciplinary team in achieving the goals of the patient care plan
  • Oversee the team and residents/medical students in all aspects of their assigned duties
  • Provide medical education and multidisciplinary team coordination services
  • Participate in clinical research projects of interest in cooperation with the medical research department

Minimum job requirements

  • Must be BE/BC in Hematology/Oncology
