Congestive Heart Failure Specialist Opportunity in Fairfield County, Connecticut (60 miles from New York City)
Nuvance Health, part of Northwell Health, is seeking a Congestive Heart Failure Specialist to join our growing Heart and Vascular Institute at Danbury and Norwalk Hospitals in Connecticut. The ideal candidate will be board certified in Cardiology and board certified/eligible in Advanced Heart Failure & Transplant Cardiology and looking to collaborate with our CHF specialists across our larger hospital system. Post fellowship training experience preferred. Leadership experience a plus.

Danbury Hospital's Emergency Department is an accredited Level II Trauma Center, a Stroke Center and a Chest Pain Center, offering 24-hour interventional cardiology. Cardiac services at the hospital include Nuclear Cardiology, Interventional Cardiology, and Arrhythmia Center. Our Cardiac Surgery Program includes TAVR. Norwalk Hospital, a Level II Trauma Center, is accredited as a Stroke Center and certified to provide Emergency Angioplasty for heart attack.
Danbury, Connecticut, located in the foothills of the Berkshire Mountains and nearby to Westchester and Putnam Counties in New York, is about 60 miles northeast of New York City. Norwalk Hospital is situated along the Long Island Sound, with convenient train access to New York City. As part of the greater NY metropolitan area, both Danbury and Norwalk enjoy proximity to New York City culture and access to a wide array of four-season recreational activities.
