Job Description

BJC Medical Group is seeking a GI Hospitalist to join our established Gastroenterology teams covering both Barnes-Jewish St. Peters Hospital and Progress West Hospital in St. Charles County, Missouri, the largest growing suburb of St. Louis. The hospitals are just 10 miles apart.

Position Highlights:

Monday through Friday inpatient only coverage; 1:4 weekend call
Smaller community hospitals
Round on patients, urgent procedures
Mentorship and support of established gastroenterology teams
Ample support staff including APP Support for inpatient rounding
Ability to do advanced cases preferred including ERCP & EUS

Hospital Affiliations:

Barnes-Jewish St. Peters Hospital is a 101-bed community hospital providing comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services, including the Siteman Cancer Center at Barnes-Jewish St. Peters Hospital, Breast Health and Women's Center, Cardiology Center and the Outpatient Surgery and Endoscopy Center.

Progress West Hospital has the latest in facility design, technology and patient-centered care, including 44 private beds, surgical services, cardiac cath lab, inpatient services, obstetrical services and diagnostic imaging. Progress West Hospital is a certified Level II Stroke Center and a highly regarded community hospital in the region.
