IU HealthPhysicians is seeking toInternally promote an Advanced Practice Provider to be a part of ourdedicatedOrthopedics team!

Position Details:

• Internal promotion opportunity for Advanced Practice Providers on the IUHP Orthopedics and Sports Medicine team
• Full Time Days
• Team Lead APP (16+ indirect reports per Team Lead, 10% admin time allotted, flex)
• Works closely with medical director to provide APP support to department
• Frontline APP support
• Clinical scheduling *Dept specific
• Interviewing
• On-board/mentor new hires
• Competency assessments
• Attends/contributes to monthly provider division meetings
• Leads quarterly (or monthly) APP division meeting
• Ensure APPs are supported at the elbow
• Responsible for monitoring productivity, quality and delinquent
• Phase 1 disciplinary convos (coffee cup convos)
• Regular meetings
• Departmental meetings
• Quality meetings
• Quarterly team meetings
• APLC

Qualifications:

• Only considering internal applicants
• FNP, or PA certification required
• Must have 2-3 years of clinical experience
• Internal candidatemust have strong leadership experience in the medical field, or related field. Must have excellent communication, organization, and time management skills.
