We are seeking a self-driven, goal-oriented individual to serve as Sound Physicians’ Medical Director at the Cleveland Clinic Akron General.
People First in Akron Local Team Collaboration:
- Join our close-knit team of 29 physicians and 4 APPs with the support of a program manager and clinical performance nurse at the Cleveland Clinic Akron General.
- Our group participates in several hospital committees and QI projects.
- Cleveland Clinic Akron General is a 532-bed regional medical center. The hospital has the prestigious Magnet status. Cleveland Clinic Akron General is recognized regionally and within Ohio for its expertise and care.
Qualifications:
- Board-certified or eligible internal medicine-trained physicians.
- Hospitalist Medical Director Leadership experience
- Authorization to work in the U.S. (Sound offers visa sponsorship for qualified candidates).
Practice in the Heart of the Community Scheduling:
- Our full-time position includes monthly clinical shifts.
- Monday – Friday schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Hospitalist Medical Director at Cleveland Clinic Akron General Hospital.
- Monthly clinical shifts, including rounding, admissions, and discharges, to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Provide clinical oversight and foster a family-like environment within a blended, collaborative team.
- No procedures are required.
- EPIC is the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
