Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Opportunity - Urgent Care & Occupational Health | Eastern Oregon
Good Shepherd Health Care System (GSHCS) is seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our Urgent Care team, with additional responsibilities in Occupational Health. Competitive hourly rate: $100 – $105/hour

Provide urgent care and occupational health services to patients of all ages
Perform evaluations, minor procedures (e.g., sutures, casts, splints), and interpret basic EKGs and X-rays
Collaborate with physicians, clinical staff, and support teams to deliver timely, effective care
Occasional travel to cover Occupational Health shifts in Boardman, Oregon
Conduct physical exams, patient assessments, and medical histories
Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions
Order and interpret diagnostic and lab tests
Develop and update treatment and care plans
Administer medications and treatments
Monitor patient progress and modify plans as needed
Educate patients and families on health management and prevention
Collaborate with the care team to ensure optimal outcomes
Current, unrestricted PA or NP license in Oregon (or ability to obtain)
Current DEA license (or ability to obtain)
Must be able to pass pre-employment screenings, including a drug test that aligns with federal drug testing regulations
DOT Physical Certification (or willingness to obtain)
Current ACLS, BLS, PALS, and any specialty-specific certifications required
Minimum of two years of clinical experience preferred (open to qualified new graduates)
Strong communication and organizational skills
Flexibility to work variable shifts and occasional coverage in Boardman
